Would You Like a UPB Student as an Intern?

We have an active program of placing student interns with local companies, both during the traditional school year and the summer break.  If the student is doing the internship for college credit a professor will be assigned to work with the student and business team to enhance the student's learning and effectiveness for the host business.

If you would like to be considered for a UPB intern, please initiate the process by filling out this form.

Some successful internships we have sponsored:

  • Marketing and Hospitality plan for the Option House, Bradford.  This was a large project in the email2.JPGFall of 2008 involving students from both Hospitality and Marketing Programs, supervised by UPB faculty members, Jim Dombrosky and Diana Maguire.

  • On-site semester-long internships at regional banks where the students gain hands-on accounting and financial management experience.
  • On-site summer-long internships at regional manufacturing firms where students gain hands-on marketing, sales and customer service experience.

  • On-campus research projects where students develop feasibility studies, marketing research and other professional services for small to mid-size regional businesses under the guidance of faculty supervisors.
